JAKE
Jake
was found in March 2000 running up and down the lane nearby, crying.
Two
young men saw him and put him into the back of their van and decided
to knock on my door, being the closest house, in case he came from the
farm.
I
rang the local vet, dog warden and police and then waited to hear whether
he had been reported missing.
Jake became an instant companion to Lucy and the cats and didn't mind
the foxes at all.
Jake
settled in from day one; he is such a gentle affectionate dog but is
very alert, a wonderful guard dog.
He’s
a valued member of the community - a definite asset! I’m so very
glad I was in that morning when he was brought to my door.
