BLAIR
Blair
was found by a lady walking her dog. He was very young, all alone, had
fly strike and was badly dehydrated.
This
lovely lady picked him up, tucked him under her arm and walked half
a mile back to her car and took him to the vet.
After treatment, I collected Blair. I expected him to return to the
wild but he was so quiet and easy to handle, I kept expecting him to
show signs of illness.
One
day I let him out of the holding pen and he shot off straight into Polo’s
house. Polo unearthed a chick which had been buried for later and trotted
up and placed it in front of Blair! Amazing. I took it that Blair was
meant to stay with us.
